Helmed by acclaimed (and prolific) singer/songwriter Jerry Leger, The Bop Fi’s are yet another side project that branched out of Jerry’s band The Del Fi’s (itself another side project from his main act ‘Jerry Leger & The Situation’). In summary, The Del Fi’s are Jerry’s side project, and the Bop Fi’s are an off-shoot of the Del Fi’s, so basically the Bop Fi’s are side-side-project. Confused? Don’t worry, the music will soothe you. On November 18, 2016 The Bop Fi’s released their debut album, “Don’t Lose Your Beauty” on Eastside Confectionery Records in Toronto. Says Jerry, “It’s my poetry set to jazz, creating a real late night feel to it.” The product features prominent Toronto musicians Jason Kenemy, Alan Zemaitis, Dan Mock, Julian Nalli, Andrew Barker, Kyle Sullivan, Aaron Comeau, Wesley Allen, Nichol Robertson, and Jesse Boxer-Meyrowitz.
